waiting on good things


Word: “… the Lord longs to do good to you … Blessed are all who wait for him! (Isaiah 30:18)

Wonder:  The world has an old expression: “Good things come to those who wait.” It’s the world’s way of saying: “Be patient, good things will eventually come your way.” Patience is good, but Christian patience is fundamentally different from the patience of the world. Christian patience is with the person of God, not the mere passage of time. So do you see chance or Christ as the source of the good that comes your way?
