gou vs. God

Word: “I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.” (Psalm 40:1-3a)
Wonder: From what sort of slimy pit, mud, and mire has the Lord rescued you? Has your life become a song of praise to him for it?

  1. I really like that area to fish as long as I’m in a boat. It wouldn’t be any fun if I had to get out of the boat since like the sign says….I’d be in gou/goo.
As Christians, Christ is our boat. He lifts us up and over the things that would suck us down…like goo. What a wonderful friend we have in Jesus!
