tankerWord: “Take ships as an example. Although they are ever so large … they are steered by a rudder ever so small wherever the pilot wants to go. In the same way, though our tongues are small, they brag big.” (James 3:4-5)

Wonder: Into what sort of waters will your words take you today? If you want to stay in the channel and not run afoul, choose your words wisely. Aside from a pause before answering (and perhaps counting to ten, or more when necessary), what techniques do you use to keep your tongue from running your life aground?
