The church I minister with is on a journey through the Gospels right now considering some of the questions Jesus asked. We call this journey the Know His Voice project. Last month we looked at some of the questions Jesus asked in Matthew’s Gospel. Most of this month is made up of questions recorded in John’s Gospel, although questions recorded in Luke’s Gospel kick in shortly after Thanksgiving Day.

As we read each day’s question (and the context in which it appears), we try to memorize it. We come back again and again to that question throughout the course of the day, making the question quite personal. How would we reply? How would Jesus want us to respond? With that in mind, here is a complete list of this month’s questions . . .

Nov. 1 – John 1:35-42 – vs.38 – “What do you want?”
