I have to wonder how long it will before a similar article with such a title will be released here in the United States given our nations gambling industry boom. Gambling’s next move in England is toward “training” children to take up gambling. Can the U.S. be very far behind? How long will it be before the gambling industry (via the government or otherwise) moves toward making gambling more and more appealing to teenagers and children, if not flat out marketing to them? You can rest assured that when the increase in adult gambling finally begins to level off that they’ll be looking for ways to expand and reinforce the market’s base. There’s only one way to go – down in age.
Gambling. I still say the Good Book says it has a lot more to do with those who crucify Jesus (John 19:23-24) than having anything to do with crucifying yourself for Him. Think about it.
“Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.” (Ecclesiastes 5:10 NIV)
