the children of divorce

It matters not whether you are married or single, a parent or not, read this article. What happens to the children of divorce? That is part of the subtitle of a recent article in Christianity Today entitled “Lives of Quiet Turbulence.”

The article is the result of an interview of Elizabeth Marquardt, a woman who conducted a four-year, nationally representative survey of 1,500 young adults between 18 and 35, members of the first generation to grow up with widespread divorce. Her findings were recently published as a book – Between Two Worlds: The Inner Lives of Children of Divorce (Crown, 2005).
